The blog includes my research notes, results & interesting methodologies, sources (and the evidence they may contain) and books I find fascinating as well as random genie-historical musings. I am a full-time family historian and formerly certified genealogist (I just didn’t have the time when I needed to renew but some day I’ll be CG again), an full-time avid knitter, a dedicated traveler, a full-time mom, a retired library administrator and full-time historic house maintainer living in the cool and rainy Pacific Northwest. That is at least 2 full-times too many but I wouldn’t trade my life for anyone’s. Well maybe for a position as minor British royalty. I have another blog that is a more formal publication of research articles on work I have “completed.” The McLeland-Wieser Family doesn’t accept comments but if you have something to share feel free to do it here or contact me at my email. Here is a list of the surnames I am working on.
